Water filtration systems

Sand and rust are fine particles in water that can cause system malfunctions or damage to equipment. It is also a requirement to remove these fine particles beforehand as a pre-treatment for water purification techniques such as reverse osmosis. If source water contains iron and/or manganese, these can be removed by intensively aerating the source water in an iron and/or manganese removal system.

Iron and manganese removal system

Source water containing iron and/or manganese causes discoloration and deposits. By intensively aerating the water, the elements oxidize and are captured in the filter bed of the system.
