Water softening systems
Wairtec supplies water softening systems tailored to your application and flow rate. These systems remove dissolved hardness salts in water, which consist of calcium and/or magnesium ions, by exchanging them for sodium. This prevents scale buildup, resulting in fewer system malfunctions and more efficient energy transfer. A water softener is used in many processes, such as car washes, dishwashers, and steam boilers.
Standard water softening systems - 500 - 4400 liters/hour
Mono Bloc, Duo Bloc, or Duplex?
The choice of type is often dependent on the available space and the underlying process. If space is limited, you choose the very compact Mono Bloc system, where the salt reservoir is integrated into the softening column. If there is sufficient space, you opt for the Duo Bloc, where the salt reservoir has a larger capacity, meaning it needs to be refilled less frequently.
If you are looking for a water softening system for an industrial process where continuously softened water is required 24/7, we provide our duplex systems. With these systems, one column is always in operation while the other column is being regenerated.

Standard water softening systems - 4 - 22 m3/hour
Systems with high capacity - 20 – 100 m3/hour
The high-capacity systems are often custom solutions that are fully tailored to the customer’s needs.
