The Duplex W 2915 – W 2950 softens water by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions in water with sodium ions. Once the softener is saturated with scale, it will regenerate by flushing with a brine solution. The softener flushes the captured scale to the sewer.
The softener has two columns that alternate in operation. This allows the softener to continuously provide softened water 24/7. The water softener features a microprocessor control with an attached pulse water meter to determine the regeneration time.
This type of water softener is commonly used in car washes, the food industry, and steam systems.
