Description
The Duplex W 2915 – W 2950 softens water by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions (which cause hardness in water) with sodium ions. Once the softener is saturated with calcium, it regenerates by flushing with a brine solution. The softener flushes the collected calcium to the drain.
The softener has two columns that operate alternately, allowing it to continuously provide softened water 24/7. The water softener is controlled by a microprocessor, and a pulse water meter is connected to determine the regeneration time.
This type of water softener is commonly used in car washes, food industries, and steam systems.
