Description
The Duplex W 2915 – W 2950 softens water by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions (which make up the hardness in water) with sodium ions. Once the softener is saturated with calcium, it regenerates by flushing with a brine solution. The softener flushes the collected calcium to the drain.
The softener has two columns that alternate in operation, allowing it to continuously provide softened water 24/7. The water softener has a microprocessor control, which is connected to a pulse water meter to determine the regeneration timing.
This type of water softener is commonly used for car washes, the food industry, and steam systems.
