Description
The Duplex W 9510 – W 9525 softens water by exchanging calcium and magnesium ions (which form lime in water) with sodium ions. Once the softener is saturated with lime, it will regenerate by flushing with a brine solution. The softener flushes the captured lime away into the sewage system.
The softener has two columns that operate alternately. This allows the softener to continuously provide softened water 24/7. The water softener features a digital control system, with an optional digital water meter to determine the regeneration time.
This type of water softener is commonly used for small users, such as car washes, the food industry, healthcare, and steam systems.
