Description
The Triplo W 3950 – W 39125 softens water by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions (which make up hardness) for sodium ions. Once the softener becomes saturated with hardness, it regenerates by flushing with a brine solution. The softener flushes the trapped hardness into the sewer.
The softener consists of three columns operating in a carousel arrangement. This allows the softener to continuously provide softened water at high capacity 24/7. The water softener features a microprocessor control system with a pulse water meter attached to each softener column to determine the regeneration moment.
This type of water softener is widely used for large-scale industrial consumers.
